After managing to escape from their bonds, Chris and Jill will escape together while Claire rushes ahead, attempts to kill the antagonist, and dies off-screen. No one will even acknowledge her death except for a single character (Chris), who will only bring up the topic once or twice throughout the entire game.

You can make V-Jolt in Chris’s story mode but only when you take control of Rebecca.

Once you have the V-Jolt, head back to the catwalk where the sharks were earlier. There will be a room with a small part of the plant in it, use the V-Jolt solution on the plant. Go around to Plant 42’s lair and after a brief cut scene the plant will wither away and die.

The solution for the puzzle and to create the V-JOLT is:

1. Combine water (represented by the 1) and UMB No. 3 to make NP-004.
2. Combine NP-004 and Yellow-6 to make UMB No.
3. Combine 1 and Yellow-6 to make UMB No.
4. Combine UMB No. 10 and UMB No. 7 to make VP-017.
5. Combine VP-017 and UMB No. 3 to make V-JOLT.

Let richard die in the mansion, when you reach plant 42 with chris, you’ll gain control from rebecca & make the v jolt.

When you first enter the study room (You use the Emblem Key on it), you have to immediately go upstairs to save her. The time window for this is very short, so you can’t spend much time at all picking up items in the room.

When Plant 42 takes about 7 or so shots (with the Assault shotgun as an example) it will start to wither via a cut-scene. After this the game switch back and you have to pump about five more shots to kill it. Using the V-jolt has you starting the fight right after the withering cut-scene.

Location. On the first game, the key is on the basement storeroom of the Guardhouse, but on arrange mode it is on the sink of the bathroom from room 002. On the remake, the key is placed on the desk underneath the giant beehive inside the Gallery.

Availability

1. Can be purchased from Undead Merchant Male in the Undead Burg for 1000 souls.
2. The Residence Key is a drop from the Undead Merchant Male in the Undead Burg. He also drops a Uchigatana, the Orange Guidance Soapstone, and one Humanity.

To create V-Jolt, Jill must first solve a strange puzzle in the Spider Room of The Residence not far from Plant 42. By taking the lighter into the Spider Room (located at the end of the hall just past the Residence save room), Jill can light red, green, and orange lamps scattered around the room.

A large red book, all the pages are blank. This doesn’t seem to have a purpose until you’ve acquired the Organic Chemistry Lab Experiment file. Then it can be used to complete the row of books in Room 003.

Main Story Location. The Red Jewel is in the Art Room. Pick up the Statue’s Left Arm on the table, and then combine it with the Red Book. Now you can place the Left Arm With Book back onto the statue itself, and it will open its other hand to give you the Scepter.

Observation Room

Once you are past the garage and have the key you can get into one of these two rooms. With Leon, you can enter the Observation Room with the Club Key, and with Claire you can go into the Interrogation Room with the Heart Key. Once inside, grab everything you can.
