American Ninja Warrior will be back for Season 12 in the fall of 2020! The first episode will air on September 7th, 2020. The condensed season, featuring only 150 ninjas, will be 8 episodes long, with an all new format.

Of all the contestants to have appeared on NBC’s American Ninja Warrior, Drew Drechsel may be the most identifiable, with his nickname “the real-life ninja” but now he’s been dropped from the show—and its upcoming season—after the 31-year-old was charged with federal crimes related to sex with a minor.

Mt. Midoriyama has been conquered! For only the second time during American Ninja Warrior’s 11-season run — and the first time since 2015 — a competitor has nabbed the $1 million prize after completing all four stages of the difficult obstacle course.

To date, only Isaac Caldiero, Geoff Britten, and Drew Drechsel have finished the course and achieved “total victory”. Caldiero and Drechsel are the only competitors to win the cash prize.

Technically, no one “wins” unless they complete all four stages of Mount Midoriyama, or the National Finals.

Potential contestants go through a rigorous series of obstacles before the possibility of becoming the next Australian Ninja Warrior and win a cash prize, starting at $100,000. If there is no winner in a season the prize will jackpot and rise by $100,000 until someone eventually conquers Mount Midoriyama.

Zack Stolz was the first to climb Mount Midoriyama in the show’s history doing it in 29:80 seconds but his success was short-lived when he was beaten by Charlie Robbins who did a time of 26:56 seconds who was outdone in 25:56 seconds be Ben Polson, who became the shows first Australian Ninja Warrior.

American Ninja Warrior Junior is looking for kids ages 9-14 for the new season of Ninja competition. To apply on behalf of your child, submit an application through the casting website, here, before April 30th, 2021.

These players proceed to a final competition with the three winners taking home $15,000 prizes.

Tickets are FREE! American Ninja Warrior Junior airs on the Universal Kids network and we encourage families with kids to join and watch the action. The minimum age to attend is 8 years old, anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult or legal guardian.

American Ninja Warrior Junior is a spinoff of the popular American Ninja Warrior show, now entering it’s third season. Season 2 of the show taped in summer of 2019, and aired in the spring of 2020. It has been announced that Season 3 will return in either 2021 or 2022.

American Ninja Warrior is in the process of selecting teens between the ages of 15 and 18 to take part in the regular competition. In recent years, the minimum age requirement to apply for the show was 19.

Kids need to be between the ages of 9 and 14 by July 1, 2019 to apply. Parents, you have until May 3, 2019 to get those applications in for your little Ninja! Season one American Ninja Warrior Junior is currently still airing. After showing 10 episodes in 2018, the show went on hiatus for the holidays.

The winners were Nathanael Honvou (Ages 9+10), Jack David (Ages 11+12) and Vance Walker (Ages 13+14). With his defeat of Kaden Lebsack in the championship round, Vance Walker became the first reigning champion of American Ninja Warrior Junior.

Filming of Season 5 of Australian Ninja Warrior will occur throughout February and March, located at Qudos Bank Arena forecourt, Sydney Olympic Park.
