Zeus is Kratos father, he gets jealous of the power kratos received and he thought kratos would come after him and take his throne, (as Zeus killed his own father) and he thought his son kratos would come after him same way Zeus kills his father! so he decided in (GOW2) to kill kratos and take his powers.

Zeus. Zeus was the King of the Olympian Gods and the main antagonist of God of War II and God of War III. Zeus and Ares believed the destruction of Olympus would come at the hands of Kratos’ brother Deimos, so they had Deimos imprisoned and tortured by Thanatos.

In fact, much of Kratos’ frustration and hostility towards the Gods stems from his relationship with his father. Kratos stabs Zeus with the Blade of Olympus, then Zeus uses the blade against Kratos. But Kratos finishes the deed by beating Zeus to a bloody pulp with his bare hands (not unlike how he defeated Hercules).

When Kratos refused, Zeus stabbed him with the Blade of Olympus through the heart, and the Ghost of Sparta descended down to the River Styx once again. This time, however, Kratos didn’t save himself from the clutches of Hades — it was the Titan Gaia who healed his wound and cast him out of the underworld.

Originally Answered: Who would win, Doomsday or Juggernaut? Doomsday would win, hands down. Being inhuman doesn’t win against a monster who can’t die and who’s only goal is to get better and kill unmercifully. Doomsday is stronger than Juggernaut and could rip his armor off if he wanted too.
