The show was cancelled on 9 August 2016 due to Channel 4’s “commitments to new programmes” for the following year. On 18 October 2016, the Moran sisters launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise money to make a third series of the show. The campaign was unsuccessful and plans for a third series were cancelled.

Raised by Wolves, Ridley Scott and Aaron Guzikowski’s new show on HBO Max, centers around a religious order known as the Mithraic, which is based on real-world Roman concepts. So far, most of the main characters in Raised by Wolves belong to the atheist side.

Raised by Wolves offers plenty of surface value for fans of prestige television and science fiction. While this HBO Max series isn’t quite as extravagant due to budget, it is still very impressive for a television series.

“Raised by Wolves” premiered on the HBO Max streaming service on September 3, and new episodes are added weekly. The science fiction series is produced by Ridley Scott (“Gladiator,” “Blade Runner”) and Aaron Guzikowski (“The Red Road”).
