Jane Kaczmarek, the Emmy-nominated actress who plays mom Lois on the Fox comedy hit “Malcolm in the Middle,” will see her third real-life pregnancy written into her role. “I’ve been told they’re going to work the pregnancy into the show,” Kaczmarek, 46, told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel this week.

Malcolm in the Middle is an American family television sitcom created by Linwood Boomer for Fox. The series premiered on January 9, 2000, and ended on May 14, 2006, after seven seasons and 151 episodes.

The title character Malcolm was initially written as being nine years old. While auditioning, the-then 13-year old Frankie Muniz thought that he would not get it, believing he was “too old”. However, the producers were impressed with Muniz, so he was cast, and the character was aged up.

It is generally accepted that Lady Macbeth dies by committing suicide in Macbeth. The evidence for this comes from Malcolm’s speech in act 5, scene 8, where he says that it is rumored that Macbeth’s “fiendlike” queen “took off her life” (5.8. 70–72).

What happens to Lady Macbeth before she dies? She is plagued by fits of sleepwalking. She is haunted by the ghost of Duncan. She sees her children killed in battle.

The death scene of Lady Macbeth is a big part of this plan because it really enlights the true meaning of the play as a whole. This is because power is more important than anything else to Lady Macbeth. This led to her death because her guilt overcame her.

Macbeth’s reaction to his wife’s death is to say that she should have died “hereafter.” In other words, he wishes she had lived longer. However, he goes on to ponder the brevity of life. Out, out, brief candle! Macbeth is saying that life is so short as to be almost meaningless.

When Macbeth hears of Lady Macbeth’s death, he responds that she was eventually going to die anyway—“She should have died hereafter” (5.5. Macbeth then goes on to comment on the brevity of life: “Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player / That struts and frets his hour upon the stage” (5.5. 24–25).
