One of them, Echo, was so upset by his rejection that she withdrew from the world to waste away. All that was left of her was a whisper. It was heard by the goddess Nemesis, who, in response, made Narcissus fall in love with his own reflection, at which he stared until he died.

Narcissus

Narcissism is the pursuit of gratification from vanity or egotistic admiration of one’s idealised self-image and attributes. The term originated from Greek mythology, where a young man named Narcissus fell in love with his own image reflected in a pool of water.

One of the youth’s most ardent admirers was Ameinius, but Narcissus merely sent him a sword to do away with himself, which he did. On dying, Ameinius cursed the object of his unbound affections and asked the gods to punish him.

Echo and Narcissus is a myth from Ovid’s Metamorphoses, a Roman mythological epic from the Augustan Age. The introduction of the myth of the mountain nymph Echo into the story of Narcissus, the beautiful youth who rejected Echo and fell in love with his own reflection, appears to have been Ovid’s invention.

The myths of Echo and Narcissus are wonderful and do have a moral lesson. Echo could have the last word but no longer had the power to speak first. The big problem was that Echo loved the youth Narcissus, but Narcissus scorned all the nymphs, including Echo. In great sadness, Echo pined away to nothing but a voice.

In Greek mythology, Narcissus was proud, in that he disdained those who loved him, causing some to commit suicide to prove their unrelenting devotion to his striking beauty. The moral of Narcissus is that Narcissism is part of societies.

The Moral of this story is that yes you should love yourself but having to much love for yourself can cause big problems because you then become big headed and no one will like you because they won’t like you act. You may be beautiful on the out side but when you become big headed you can look very ugly on the inside.

In Hesiod’s Works and Days, Pandora had a jar containing all manner of misery and evil. Zeus sent her to Epimetheus, who forgot the warning of his brother Prometheus and made Pandora his wife. She afterward opened the jar, from which the evils flew out over the earth.

Prometheus had advised Epimetheus not to accept anything from the Gods, but when he saw Pandora’s beauty, he falls for her, disregarding his brother’s advice. According to Hesiod, Zeus willed that Hope should stay inside because he wanted mortals to suffer in order to understand that they should not disobey their gods.

Pandora’s Divine Gifts Finally, Pandora was given a large storage jar to take down to earth which she was told she must never open under any circumstances. Fulfilling her destiny, curiosity got the better of Pandora and she lifted the lid of the storage jar which released all the evils of the world.

The parents of Pandora were Hephaestus and Athena.

Powers/Abilities: Pandora has an incredibly long lifespan, although she is not entirely immortal. She does age, but at a rate much slower than a normal human. She also has the power to take on a form familiar to those near her through a form of hypnotization, and always takes on a form much younger than she really is.

Strengths/ Weaknesses When she was created, Pandora was given traits of beauty, charm, and persuasion, but the trait that led her to misfortune was curiosity.

He cried because he failed to save her because he’s only a two-year-old spirit and a dear companion of Flugel’s crew during their youth. Flugel was the notable leader of the moderate faction, but since he’s already seen the future or he’s in fact the old Subaru of the present era.

We know that Emilia’s father was the elf cause Fortuna mentioned that her brother was Emilia’s dad, so her mother has to have been a human, since the Sanctuary barrier only works on half bloods and not quarter bloods or something like that (e.g Garfiel) and the barrier worked on Emilia after all.

Emilia’s “Mother” Fortuna, Revealed She acts as Emilia’s mother, taking care of her instead of her brother and his wife.

When Emilia says that Fortuna is her real mother, Minerva tears up instantly. Was she moved by the fact that Emilia really found a parent’s love even after she left behind the kid at a young age?

Considering Emilia’s mother is human and father is an elf, it can be deduced that satella is not her mother, since satella is a half-elf.

Emilia is not Satella despite mirroring her looks. However, due to their similar looks, Echidna and Pandora have often referred to Emilia as “the witch’s daughter,” with Pandora also mentioning that she was of the witch’s bloodline after seeing her power.

Satella says that she loves Subaru for “giving her light, showing her the outside world, holding her hand when she was lonely, and kissing her when she was all alone,” and effectively giving her a reason to live. Rem. After initially starting out on a bad foot, Rem eventually comes to fall for Subaru after he ends up emotionally and physically saving her during the events of the second arc, where afterwards she began devoting herself to him. Subaru even agreed to take Rem as her second wife, but only if Emilia would allow it.

His curse is to fall in love with a silver haired elf so that he gets compelled to get close to her (in this case Emilia) and, once he gets corrupted enough, be forced to place Satella’s spirit which he is carrying inside that elf’s body.
