“Survivor” contestant Cassandra Anne “Angie” Jakusz is dead at age 40 after a three-year battle with cancer. She passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021, according to her New Orleans obituary. Angie rose to fame in 2005 by starring on “Survivor: Palau,” the reality TV show’s 10th season on CBS.

She was 40. Jakusz was just 25 years old when she was cast on Survivor: Palau in 2005. At the time, she was working as a bartender and an artist in New Orleans, La. When she arrived to the game, she was targeted at the first tribal council after the Ulong tribe lost the immunity challenge.

Angie Jakusz, who was a contestant on season 10 of “Survivor” in 2005, has died at 40. Jakusz, whose full name was Cassandra Anne Jakusz, earned the nickname “No Fun Angie” for her independent streak as part of the Ulong tribe on “Survivor: Palau.”

Probst was married to his first wife, psychotherapist Shelley Wright, from 1996 to 2001. In 2004, after filming on Survivor: Vanuatu wrapped, he began dating one of the contestants, Julie Berry. They broke up in early 2008. Probst married his second wife, Lisa Ann Russell, on December 5, 2011.

He was unwilling to betray his ally, forcing the first-ever elimination by random rock draw. English drew the unlucky purple rock, and therefore was the first person to be eliminated without ever having a vote cast against him.

Layton, who is also Mormon and attends a young single adult ward in Provo, told the Deseret News, “Going into it, I was proud of being an LDS girl. It’s who I am.” She is the youngest of five brothers and a sister, and was planning to have a premiere party with her family.

Kim is a self-described ‘Type A’ personality. (In one of her first confessionals, the 31-year-old retail buyer confessed that she has reduced all her employees to tears at some point.)

In 2017, Angie gave birth to her son Ledger James. On December 10, Angie got married to Clint Berhow and shared some beautiful photos on Instagram to celebrate the big day. Over the holidays, Angie and Clint took to social media again. This time, she announced that she was pregnant and that they would be having the child this summer.

A 20-year-old model and student when the season was filmed, Angie hailed from Provo, Utah. When answering questions on her bio about her personal claim to fame, she stated that “I’m Miss Utah Teen USA 2010 and 3rd runner-up Miss Teen USA 2010.”

While she was on the show, Angie didn’t win any challenges and ended up being the third person voted off the show. Denise Stapley won Survivor 25, with Lisa Whelchel and Michael Skupin serving as the runner-ups.
