By the end of the Purple Shadow races, Takumi remarks that he believes Keisuke (who was displaying incredible development at the time) will defeat him one day. Takumi is currently dating Mika Uehara, a golfer who is training to be a pro golfer.

Takumi just doesn’t lose. Ounces of them, noticeable, from when Takumi won the duct-tape deathmatch and when he faced Ryosuke. But hurdles don’t only come from tough opponents you defeat. They can come from opponents you LOSE to.

MF Ghost is the most recent manga by author Shuichi Shigeno, best known for Initial D and Bari Bari Densetsu. It debuted in Young Magazine issue 40 (2017) on the 4th of September 2017. MF Ghost directly references Initial D and it’s characters and is a continuation of the series.

There is no series like that, other than the ones you mentioned already, to my knowledge. You can look at the userrecs but it’s just the same. I fear there really is none. There’s nothing like Initial D unfortunately, but you could watch Bari Bari Densetsu – the previous work of the same mangaka.
