The ancient Greek religion had at least three gods representing conceptions of time: Chronos, Aion, and Kairos. Chronos (not to be confused with the Titan Cronus) was likely the first of these gods to be established. Chronos represented empirical time, such as the past, present, and future.

The modern western society has significantly been influenced by Greek mythology, and references to it can be found throughout modern life in science, arts, literature and language. The Greeks were pioneers with their contributions to math and science. Many astral bodies have derived their names from Greek mythology.

Tyche, in Greek religion, the goddess of chance, with whom the Roman Fortuna was later identified; a capricious dispenser of good and ill fortune. The Greek poet Hesiod called her the daughter of the Titan Oceanus and his consort Tethys; other writers attributed her fatherhood to Zeus, the supreme god.

The New Gods (also known as the Seven) As long as you’re not too far north, the Seven—Father, Smith, Warrior, Mother, Maiden, Crone, and Stranger—are the main deities on the continent.

Baal, the Electro Archon, is named after Baal, the first king of Hell. Barbatos, the Anemo Archon is named after Barbatos, one of the dukes of Hell. Morax, the Geo Archon is named after Morax, president of Hell. Decarabian, the God of Storms, is named after Decarabia, a Great Marquis of Hell, or a King and Earl.

The Many-Faced God (alternatively known as the God of Death) is a deity worshiped by the mysterious cult of assassins known as the Faceless Men, who are headquartered in the Free City of Braavos and they believe that through their assassinations they do his work.

The Faceless Men are a cult of religious assassins that worship the Many-Faced God, and they believe that death is a merciful end to suffering. For a price, they will grant the “gift” of death to anyone in the world, considering the assassination a sacrament to their god.

In Season Five, Arya travels to Braavos, where she tracks down Jaqen H’ghar, who is a mysterious assassin of the Faceless Men. That is her character’s death: Arya is gone, in place of a nameless girl. But in Season Seven, Arya is reborn. After killing her rival The Waif, Arya comes face-to-face with a proud Jaqen.

But Arya Stark, disciple of the God of Death, was chosen to kill the Night King, the physical embodiment of death. Perhaps the Lord of Light and the God of Death are exactly the same thing, a deity of both life and death, more concerned with balance than mass extinction.

A warg is a term for a skinchanger who specialises in controlling dogs and wolves. Arya Stark is believed to have some warg abilities, as her dreams often involve Nymeria, her direwolf. Jon Snow is also an untrained warg and can enter the body of Ghost.

The blindness is induced by the milk she drinks every night. She continues to dream through the eyes of her direwolf, Nymeria, but speaks of it to no one. She still struggles with leaving her identity as Arya Stark behind. While she is blind, Arya wears the guise of “Beth”, a beggar girl.
