How to see everyone on Zoom (mobile app)

If you want a different view of a particular video—for example, if someone’s cropped out of the video or it only shows part of their face—right click and select Fit to frame to see the entire video. Select Fill frame to see a closer, cropped view.

While in a Teams meeting, select the three-dots icon. If not grayed-out — that is, 10 or more videos feeds are active — select Large gallery. The meeting window changes to show more video feeds, up to 49 feeds.

To enable this new layout, click the “…” icon at the top-right of a Teams meeting. From the menu which appears, choose “Large gallery” to enable expanded participant support. With this mode selected, Teams will display up to 49 participants in a 7×7 grid on your display.

If you want to see all the meeting participants in Microsoft Teams, you need to enable the Large Gallery option. By the way, the maximum number of meeting attendees the app can display on a single screen is limited to 49 users.

Gallery view is enabled in the Teams app, and is great, especially since it has been increased. However, when accessing via a browser, gallery view is not available, only speaker view.

The Together mode view is the same for everyone in the meeting and doesn’t change, unlike grid views that show participants’ videos in different locations on each person’s screen and that move the boxes around during the call based on who’s speaking.

But, Together mode works best when everyone has their camera on. Microsoft does support voice users in meetings. But the social experience is better when everyone has a visual presence. Microsoft research suggests that users feel better using a camera in Together mode.

Make sure you have the latest version of Microsoft Teams, then, click on your avatar, click on ‘Settings’:

To start a call from a chat in teams, navigate to your chat list and click New chat to start a new conversation. Type the name into the To field of the person(s) you want to call. Then click Video call or Audio call in the top right corner to start the audio or video conversation.

Using the Microsoft Teams admin center:

1. From the Dashboard, click Users, select the user from the list, and select Edit.
2. Select Edit next to Audio Conferencing, and then in the Audio Conferencing pane, choose a number in the Toll number and Toll-free number lists.
