GNWL: General Waiting List (GNWL) waitlisted tickets are issued when the passenger begins his/her journey at the originating station of a route or stations close to the originating station. RLGN: Remote Location General Waiting List (RLGN) is issued when a user books a ticket where WL quota is RLWL.

PQWL means Pooled Quota Waiting List tickets. Once the tickets from the Pooled Quota is filled, PQWL tickets are issued. Chances of PQWL tickets getting confirmed are usually very low, as in the priority list of waiting list tickets it comes after GNWL.

WL This is the most common waiting list. It is for tickets booked on the waiting list. PQWL This is the waiting list ticket against the pooled quota. The chance for getting this ticket confirmed is very small.
