Now, it’s time to fly over to Cianwood City. From Cianwood City, you can Surf eastward, where you’ll find the Whirl Islands. There are four islands there, and you’ll need to cross over whirlpools in order to successfully breach the cave entrance on each island….Whirl Islands.

The networks of islands in Route 41 conceal a hidden dungeon that is Lugia’s new home. Of course, Lugia won’t appear until you have the Silver Wing, which Silver players earn at the Radio Tower while Gold and Crystal players earn much later in Kanto’s Pewter City.

If the player owned an original game with Charmander as a starter Pokémon and either Pokémon Gold, Silver or Crystal, they could trade Charmander from one game to another. Trading is possible via Link Cables….Charmander Generation II.

The only way to obtain Celebi in Pokémon Crystal is by unlocking the Celebi Quest, which is hidden within the game. GameShark can be purchased online. If GameShark isn’t available, you can use Code Breaker or Game Genie.

You cannot access this angry psychic monster in the wild in “Pokémon Crystal Version,” but if you or a friend has already captured Mewtwo in one of the “Pokémon Red,” Pokémon Blue” or Pokémon Yellow” games, the violent creature can be transferred to the newer game easily.

Contrary to what some sources have stated, Celebi does not appear to be shiny locked due to IVs. Further information has also been given about the event. The GS Ball is obtained after beating the Elite Four.

Beat the game (Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald) on your Game Boy Advance. In order to get Jirachi on your game, you will need to have beaten the Elite 4. This essentially means that you have beaten the game. You will need a free space in your party before you can receive Jirachi.

Celebi is a Psychic/Grass type Pokémon, which makes it especially weak against Bug moves, and weak against Fire, Ice, Flying, Poison, Dark and Ghost moves.

However, for those who wish to obtain Celebi legitimately in “Pokemon SoulSilver,” there is no way through gameplay. A player has to either import it from an older version of the game where they’ve already obtained Celebi, or trade for it.

In Pokémon X and Y Celebi could be obtained as a gift in Pokémon Bank. Outside of the main series, Celebi has appeared in Pokémon Colosseum, the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games, the Pokémon Ranger games, PokéPark Wii: Pikachu’s Adventure, Pokémon Go, Pokémon Café Mix, and Super Smash Bros. Melee and Brawl.

In order to get the Celebi in Pokémon Crystal, the player needs to have defeated the Elite Four and Lance. Once their team is entered into the Hall of Fame and the game starts again, the player can visit the Goldenrod Pokémon Center, where the nurse will give the player the GS Ball.

You’ll temporarily have unlimited plain Pokéballs and your AR will turn on. Celebi is a tricky catch, as it vanishes and reappears frequently, but there’s no pressure — you will eventually catch Celebi as long as you keep hitting it with balls.
