Investment firm The Carlyle Group has acquired RuneScape publisher Jagex for at least $530 million. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The Daily Telegraph reported the deal was worth at least $530 million, which was the price paid in the previous transaction in 2020.

High Risk Wilderness Worlds were worlds that were added to the game with the Free Trade and Wilderness update on 1 February 2011. These worlds replaced the Bounty worlds (+1) and PvP Worlds. Whilst in the Wilderness on these worlds Protect Item is inactive and if you die you will lose your items.

Currently, players can also participate in player killing in dedicated “PvP worlds,” where players can attack other players in most places around Gielinor, with the exception of designated safe areas and banks. There is only one dedicated PvP world that does not change with the PvP world rota, this is World 392.

There are currently 150 normal members worlds and 84 free-to-play worlds.

What does “no honor” mean? It’s basically tribridding with no rules. You may find people rushing other people doing this, or actual orchestrated fights. Generally you’ll see a lot of people freezing and then running behind walls/trees to reset the attack timer, and other similar “unsportsmanlike” strategies.
