Did you know Windows 10 has a screen recording utility called the Xbox Game Bar? With it, you can record a video of your actions in just about any Windows app on your laptop, whether you want to capture gameplay or create a tutorial for someone on using Microsoft Office.

Navigate to the screen you wish to record and press Win+G to open Game Bar. Several Game Bar widgets appear on the screen with controls for capturing screenshots, recording video and audio, and broadcasting your screen activity. Click the Start Recording button to capture your screen activity.

Record your phone screen

1. Swipe down twice from the top of your screen.
2. Tap Screen record . You might need to swipe right to find it.
3. Choose what you want to record and tap Start. The recording begins after the countdown.
4. To stop recording, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the Screen recorder notification .

How do I screen record with audio? To record your voice, select the microphone. And if you want to record the sounds that come from your computer, like the beeps and boops you hear, select the system audio option.

Make sure the microphone is turned on (displayed as ), so you can speak at the same time as the screen recording. Both the video and your voice will be recorded. If you do not want to record any system sounds, mute your phone and turn off media sounds such as music before the screen recording.

Android

1. While hosting a Zoom meeting from your Android device, tap More.
2. Tap Record.
3. The app will now show Recording at the top of your screen.
4. To stop or pause the recording, tap More again.

Hey, I recommend you to use Android Data Recovery to scan your Android phone and SD card deeply to find the deleted sound recording files on it. You can pre-listen them and recover any of them from your Android phone.

Record both internal and external sound

1. Slide up to access the Control Center.
2. Press firmly (or tap and hold) the Screen Recording button.
3. Tap the red microphone icon to turn On the external audio.
4. Tap Start Recording.

You can’t record any “internal” sound. It’s a matter of copyright. During a screen recording, you can only use the microphone to record your voice or the enviromental sounds.

Swipe down from the top of your screen to see the quick settings tiles and tap the screen recorder button. A floating bubble will appear with a record and microphone button. If the latter is crossed out, you’re recording internal audio, and if it’s not, you get sound straight from your phone’s mic.

Currently, there is no screen recording app that can record internal sound directly due to Android policy.
