It has been the most reliable truck I’ve ever owned. I purchased this truck as a commuter vehicle to keep the miles off of my Chevy Diesel. So far my Chevy S10 has over 250,000 miles on it, and it’s still going strong.

The Chevrolet S-10 is a compact pickup truck that was produced by Chevrolet. It was the first domestically built compact pickup of the big three American automakers. In North America, the S-series was replaced by the Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon, and Isuzu i-Series in 2004.

Chevrolet stopped building the S10 pickup truck in North America in 2004 because it had decided to replace it with a new model called the Chevy Colorado that was a direct replacement.

Owing to its similarities to the Colorado, the S10 has yet to make a comeback in North America, and that’s not likely to change anytime soon. The new 2021 Chevy S10 will hit South American dealerships in the third quarter of 2020.

ford and chevy have better clutch brand in it… u see what i am trying to say but yes S10 do usually run long until between usually 180k to 280k is a very usually for all chevrolet.. rare to hit 300k or more…

Body parts for any S10 built prior to 1994 should interchange. engine and drivetrain parts will only interchange with S10s equipped with the same engine and transmission as yours.

Assuming tag inside door were still readable 33 years later.. I had my 84 standard cab short bed s10 weighed on a truck scale and it was just under 3000 lbs….How much does a single cab s10 weight?
