Click in your document where you want to create the drawing. On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click Shapes….Add a drawing to a document

You can draw freely in Microsoft Word using the “Draw” feature whether you have Word for Mac or Windows. You can also insert customizable shapes into your document, or draw using the “Scribble” feature.

On the Draw tab of the Ribbon, tap a pen to select it. In Word, you must be in Print layout to draw with ink. If the Draw tab is grayed out so that you can’t select a pen, go the View tab and select Print Layout. ; then you can select a pen to draw with.

Create a block diagram

1. Click the File tab.
2. Click New, under templates, or categories, click General, and then double-click Block Diagram.
3. From the Blocks and Blocks Raised stencils, drag shapes onto the drawing page.
4. To add text to a shape, select the shape and then type.

A block diagram is a diagram of a system in which the principal parts or functions are represented by blocks connected by lines that show the relationships of the blocks. They are heavily used in engineering in hardware design, electronic design, software design, and process flow diagrams.

How To Make a Schematic Diagram

1. Create the First Symbol. From (File > New) under Name: type Schematic.
2. Use the Pick tool to select both lines, and press Ctrl + D to duplicate them.
3. Right-click on the selected lines and select Symbol > New Symbol.
4. Add More Symbols.
5. Lay out the Symbols.
6. Connect the Circuit.
7. Add Text.
