Pure physics is a branch of fundamental science (also called basic science. Physics is also called “the fundamental science” because all branches of natural science like chemistry, astronomy, geology, and biology are constrained by laws of physics.

Physics is linked with psychology in many ways. Statistics offers linkage between the two that are amply visible. Human nature, behavior, response (group and individual), modeling etc. all are essential exercises and works and physics plays important part.

Psychology is a science because it follows the empirical method. The scientific status of any endeavor is determined by its method of investigation, not what it studies, or when the research was done, and certainly not by who did the investigation. All sciences use the empirical method.

Psychology is related to Chemistry in so many ways. It is incredibly important to Psychology. There are a lot of chemicals in your brain. An imbalance of a certain kind of chemical can cause depression and who knows how many other mental disorders.

The fluctuations and alterations in chemical structure of these hormones give rise to many diseases in abnormal psychology. One can conclude that, chemistry holds good when Psychology is studied as a discipline, because studying brain without neurons and neurotransmitters is like studying cardiology without the Heart.
