Both the Bowser and Bowser Jr. amiibo will be receiving reprints in time for the release of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury on February 12th!

Bowser Jr. is a character from the Super Mario series. He is a toys R us exclusive and is so far the second rarest amiibo, under Gold edition Mario.

Amiibo are copyrighted works and probably fall under the category of commercial software, making their distribution probably illegal, although US law is very, very young in this area. (because Nintendo presumably doesn’t want others to distribute amiibo files).

From basing an entire game around amiibo with Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival on the Wii U to recently announcing new amiibo lines for Monster Hunter Rise and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury, it seems that amiibo are here to stay.

The announcement of an enhanced port of the Wii U’s Super Mario 3D World coming to the Nintendo Switch excited many, along with the reveal of new Cat Mario and Cat Peach amiibo to be released alongside the game. However, it now seems that some older amiibo will be making a return for Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury as well.

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury will launch on February 12, exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. Grand Theft Auto Online’s soundtrack gets smaller thanks to an update that removes one famous track, with fans expecting more erasures to come.
