The Domain Name System (DNS) is a central part of the internet, providing a way to match names (a website you’re seeking) to numbers (the address for the website). Anything connected to the internet – laptops, tablets, mobile phones, websites – has an Internet Protocol (IP) address made up of numbers.

Various Internet services are Electronic Mail, World Wide Web (WWW), File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Chat Rooms, Mailing list, Instant Messaging, Chat, and News Groups.

World Wide Web Publishing Service is a component of Internet Information Services (IIS) on Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems that allows users to publish Web content for use on the Internet.

Here are the steps :

1. Step 1: When the client computer (or device) boots up or is connected to a network, a DHCPDISCOVER message is sent from the client to the server.
2. Step 2: When the DHCP server receives the DHCPDISCOVER request message then it replies with a DHCPOFFER message.

Types of DNS Service Recursive DNS resolver: A recursive DNS resolver is the DNS server that responds to the DNS query and looks for the authoritative name server or a cached DNS result for the requested name. Authoritative DNS server: An authoritative DNS server stores the DNS request.

The domain name space is divided into three different sections: generic domains, country domains, and inverse domain.
