What was the main function of the Council of elders among Africa societies during the pre-colonial period? They mediated/sealed disputes/made peace in the community.

The Council of Elders is a non-executive body comprised of people who are widely considered by consensus of the Steering Committee to be outstanding in their work in support of ICCAs.

The Council of Elders (CoE) is an advisory body currently defined in section 16 of the bylaws. The role of the CoE is defined in subsection 16.4: “16.4 This Council shall have an advisory role and shall provide help and assistance to the Chair or the entire Board.”

The Elders

At first, it seemed that the Elders were a long-extinct alien race, but the Founders discovered remnants of life forms existing in tandem with the songspire tree. As prominent figures on the side of good, the Elders also intervene when they deem it necessary and discipline others when they break their rules. Although they are powerful and have great influence, the Elders are not the highest authority, being outranked by the Angels of Destiny and potentially greater forces.

The Sacred Flame/The Source: Fiona was the “Keeper of the Sacred Flame” and the “Steward of the Source of All Evil”, which is the source of magic and Jada claims that she was one of the only witches that can match the powers of the Charmed Ones.

The Council of Elder Witches and Protectors of the Sacred Covenant (also known as Sages or The Elders) were a council of senior good witches who governed over the forces of good. They oversaw and directed Whitelighters in their effort to guide and protect neophyte witches.

She then called for Leo, who was an Elder now and didn’t even remember Piper. He heard her voice and literally fell from grace, which gave him back his memory but also made him mortal. Leo and Piper then officially resumed their marriage and the raising of their two sons.

At the end, everyone is returned to the proper time, and the sisters write down a narrative covering their future: Phoebe continues writing her column, marries Coop (permitted by the Elders), and has three daughters, with Billie looking after the first two when Phoebe goes into her third labour; Paige and Henry have …

The sisters eventually figured out the truth and worked with Chris to find out what would turn Wyatt. Eventually it was revealed that the Elder Gideon was the reason behind Wyatt becoming evil. Gideon revealed that he feared Wyatt was too powerful to be allowed to live and attempted to kill him.

Christopher Halliwell is the second son of Piper Halliwell and Leo Wyatt, born in 2004. He is the younger brother of Wyatt and the older brother of Melinda Halliwell. Like his brother, Chris is a Whitelighter-Witch.

Working with Barbas While Wyatt was able to fend him off, the trauma of having to constantly defend himself as well as being betrayed by someone he thought he could trust was too much for his young psyche to handle, hence causing him to turn evil—thus making Gideon’s concerns a self-fulfilling prophecy.

While Chris is powerful, Wyatt just has more in his favor. Same goes for Wyatt, he is more powerful because he is the first son of the Charmed Ones, and it was his destiny to be so.

He is a culmination of the power of a Charmed One and a Whitelighter, two strong forces of magic in the universe. Add that to his being a first born witch, he is very powerful. The show never implied he was more powerful than the sisters, I think fans misinterpreted that.

In the original “Charmed,” Prue (Doherty), Piper (Combs) and Phoebe (Milano) were sisters with the same father. In the new series, the sisters all have different fathers and ethnic backgrounds, which will come up on the show in different ways.

Piper has also been shown to be able to freeze demons in mid-shimmer, for example, she did this to a possessor demon.

The Charmed Ones have their powers back, but the Power of Three is nowhere to be found! The sisters were previously told they must figure out who they are apart from one another to bring back the Power of Three. Both Macy and Maggie need to figure out where their heart lies.
