“Envy,” on the other hand, is more like “want” and “desire” than “zeal.” It’s sometimes considered a “nice” word for “jealousy.” The Biblical sin, though, is “envy,” not “jealousy”: When you “covet thy neighbor’s wife,” you are resentful that your neighbor has her, and you don’t.

Heresy in Christianity denotes the formal denial or doubt of a core doctrine of the Christian faith as defined by one or more of the Christian churches. In the East, the term “heresy” is eclectic and can refer to anything at variance with Church tradition.

In the Christian Scriptures, there are three verses that take up the subject of unforgivable sin. In the Book of Matthew (12: 31-32), we read, “Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven men, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.

Confession depends on someone’s faith although in the Catholic Church we first do contrition then go to the priest. “There is no record of our sins once we have gone to confession. God does not keep records and same applies to us priests. He never brings up our past against us once we are forgiven.

All sins are confessed to God only and to Him only because He alone forgives our sins. That’s what scripture says. I john 1:9. “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” That verse doesn’t say anything about confessing your sins to a Priest.

Confess First To The Foremost – Your sexual sin will offend and hurt many as the truth comes out. But your sin has offended and hurt no one more than the One who has known the truth the entire time. Confess your sin to your all-faithful God who forgives freely and will purify you from the sin that has plagued you.

You don’t have to admit your sin to your parents. You don’t say your religion (which would help), but a “sin” is a way of offending one’s God, not one’s parents. Your parents are not gods. Sin is doing something against GOD, especially if he made specific laws against something, you know about it, and you do it.

Lies are toxic and damaging for your relationship. You should not tell a lie to your partner in the first place. But, if you need to do so, make sure it is not a big one. In case it is, you must admit lying to your partner at the right time in the right way because he will know it eventually.

“If you’ve lied to or deceived your partner, then you should say, ‘I’m sorry’ and add a description to the end of it of why you’re sorry,” he said. “The humility and strength it takes to say these two words can go a long way in helping your partner hear and accept your confession.”
