Tvonics Dongle works but at present, no sound. This review is written without having made many attempts to make this dongle do what I want. Having said that, I can state that making it communicate with my wifi router was very easy – the instructions were very adequate.

When researching a wireless donlge, most reports say cheaper dongles are not worth the money & one should expect to have to pay 3 or 4 times the price of this one., but this one proved to be the exception to that rule. As gathered from my comments, I am very pleased with it & can recommend it if you have or about to buy the TVonics Z500 Recorder.

Because there are no wires involved it is very neet and tidy to use as it just sits in the back of the Tvonics freeview box. The Wi fi reception on this device is very good as well. All in all a fantastic product.

It’s easy to set up (must be if I can do it) and we can watch BBC iplayer. Brilliant. Well it works, but the Tonics box is temperamental and I would not get another. However at least I can get BBC iPlayer because of it.
