A SmartArt graphic is a visual representation of your information that you can quickly and easily create, choosing from among many different layouts, to effectively communicate your message or ideas.

Picture styles Frames, shapes, shadows, borders, and other special effects that can be added to an image to create an overall visual style for the image.

GRAPHICS – Pictures, charts, or drawing objects LIVE LAYOUT – A feature that reflows text as an object is moved or resized so that you can view the placement of surrounding text. SPIN BOX – A small box with an upward- and downward-pointing arrow that enables you to move rapidly through a set of values by clicking.

How to draw in Word

1. Click the ‘Shapes’ button and select ‘Scribble’ Open up your Microsoft Word document.
2. Hold down your mouse to draw. Click and hold down your mouse to draw.
3. Release the mouse. As soon as you release your mouse, the drawing will be finished.
4. Edit your drawing. Double-click your drawing.

Write, draw, or highlight text

1. On the Draw tab of the Ribbon, tap a pen to select it.
2. Tap again to open the menu of Thickness and Color options for the pen.
3. A Pencil texture is also available:
4. On the touch screen, begin writing or drawing.

In a document, tap Apple Pencil in the body of a word-processing document where you want to write. Or tap in a text box, shape, or in a table cell in a word-processing or page layout document. Tap the Scribble tool in the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, then start writing.

To use inking in Word 2016, go to the Review tab and click on the Start inking icon. When you do that, Word will display a Pens tab, similar to the one shown in the previous figure. You can use this tab to choose ink color, pen thickness, etc. Inking is a little bit more straightforward in Word Mobile.

1Click the Table button on the Insert tab and choose Draw Table from the menu that appears. The insertion pointer changes to a pencil (the “pencil pointer”).

Use the Pens Tab in Word to Quickly “Pen” Your Signature

• The Pens tab can be added to the Word 2010/2013 Ribbon.
• The fist step in adding the Pens tab is to right click the ribbon and select “Customize the Ribbon” Then from the “Choose commands from” drop down choose the Tool Tabs.

You can draw freely in Microsoft Word using the “Draw” feature whether you have Word for Mac or Windows. You can also insert customizable shapes into your document, or draw using the “Scribble” feature.

To insert 3D models in Word, Excel, or PowerPoint for Windows Mobile go to the Insert tab of the ribbon and select 3D Models. The pane will open. Select one, or more, images and click Insert.

When you need to make a document that requires a signature, here are the steps to add a signature to your Word document.

1. Place the cursor in your Word document where you want to insert a signature.
2. Click the Insert tab.
3. Select Signature Line.
4. A menu will appear.
5. Fill out the required fields.
6. Select OK.

Signed documents have the Signatures button at the bottom of the document.

1. Click the File tab.
2. Click Info.
3. Click Protect Document, Protect Workbook or Protect Presentation.
4. Click Add a Digital Signature.
5. Read the Word, Excel, or PowerPoint message, and then click OK.

To add a signature line to your Word document, click Insert > Signature Line. This icon is usually included in the “Text” section of your Word ribbon menu bar. In the “Signature Setup” box that appears, fill out your signature details. Once you’re ready, click “OK” to insert your signature line.
