This is a new board manufactured in 2016 that supports wireless integration with MPG and a faster 400KHz frequency which means support for all your stepper and servo motors that support Step/Direction signals. Support for all versions of Mach3. Support for Windows XP and 7 operating system.

The USB to Parallel port cables are intended for printers and will not work at present with Mach3. As mentioned previously the smooth stepper will connect a USB port to driver board with 25 way cannon D connector and work with Mach3.

This new controller has dual inputs and allow the popular Mach3 software to be used via the parallel port and also USB port to control GRBL firmware running on the Arduino Mega2560 board. So best of both worlds for those wanting to experiment running their machines with different Gcode engines.

The fact is, the B-70 project has pioneered Mach 3 technology in the US. However, no design exists today, either a modified B-70 transport or a paper preliminary design, which would satisfy all of the basic requirements for a moneymaking 100-120 passenger, transoceanic, Mach 3 transport.

Windows 10. When the 64 bit version of Windows 10 is updated to build 1803 or higher, it will no longer allow Mach3 to use its DLLs, which causes Mach3 not to load!

GRBL is controller software that runs on an Arduino based controller. Universal G-code Sender (UGS) is a sender software and graphical user interface (GUI) that “sends” the g-code to the GRBL controller. It runs on your computer and talks to the Arduino board with a USB cable.

Mach4 is completely new software with less than 1% of the programming code in common with Mach3. It was written from the ground up to be expandable, flexible, and extremely responsive for use with very large files. Mach3 was designed for simple hobby machines and still serves this purpose well.

3. Install the downloaded version; allow the install path to default to where Mach3 is installed.

Mach3. Mach3 turns a typical computer into a CNC machine controller. Mach3 works on most Windows PC’s to control the motion of motors (stepper & servo) by processing G-Code. While comprising many advanced features, it is the most intuitive CNC control software available.

The minimum computer requirements are a Windows computer with 64 bit operating system, 3GB RAM, 512 MB memory card, 1 free USB port, and 2.5 GB free disk space. Running it from a tablet will not work.
