A Royal Flush is the highest hand in poker. Between two Royal flushes, there can be no tie breaker. If two players have Royal Flushes, they split the pot. If more than one player has a Straight Flush, the winner is the player with the highest card used in the Straight.

So, aces-full (three aces with any pair) beats any other full house, and deuces-full can not beat any other full house. In a community card game such as Texas Hold’em, two players may hold a hand such as three deuces, in this case, the higher pair will determine the winning hand.

Full House When two or more players hold full houses it is the three of a kind that will determine the winner. So, aces-full (three aces with any pair) beats any other full house, and deuces-full can not beat any other full house.

Higher cards always beat lower cards, for example, a pair of aces beats a pair of kings, and a flush with a king beats a flush whose highest card is a Queen. If two players have the same pair, a kicker is used to break the tie if possible (more about them soon).

The highest card of the five makes out the rank of the flush. Our example shows an Ace-high flush. Any five consecutive cards of different suits. The ace count as either a high or a low card.

If two players have a Flush, the player with the highest card wins. If both players have the same high card, the second-highest card wins, etc.

Three of a Kind: Three of a kind (three cards of the same rank) beats two pair. Three aces is the best of these. If two or more players share the same three of a kind hand, the two remaining kickers determine the winner.

The straight flush is the rarest. When a deck contains two suits, it’s not possible to make four of a kind, three of a kind, or a full house. The straight flush is still the rarest hand, but a straight is less likely than a flush.

7 2 is the worst hand because it is the lowest four gap hand combination that exists in poker. You can’t make straight with 7 2 unless there is a four-straight on board. All of this makes it hit very poorly post-flop.

A pair of two’s and a pair of three’s will beat a pair of Aces. Again, two players with the same hand would use the fifth card as the kicker to determine the winner.

Both emperors and kings are monarchs, but emperor and empress are considered the higher monarchical titles.
