In Grey’s Anatomy Season 8, Cristina had an abortion and Owen held the decision against his wife, even having an affair. Eventually, Cristina forgave Owen for cheating. But in the end, the couple faced too many differences. Cristina knew she didn’t want children, whereas Owen desperately wanted a family.

4 Owen Cheated On Cristina When they were happy, it was glorious to watch and you could tell that they loved each other very much. Despite him loving his wife, Owen just couldn’t forgive her and so he slept with someone else who he met in a bar.

In the end, Teddy and Owen did not get married on Grey’s Anatomy. As time went on, Teddy and Owen awkwardly worked together at Grey Sloan Memorial. They also teamed up to save Andrew DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) after he was stabbed. But unfortunately, he died.

In a reversal of blame, Amelia is angry Owen placed sole blame on her for their marital issues, as well as committing adultery with Teddy, since he ignored all of her tumor symptoms as selfishness and poor character.

It is official: Linc is the father of Amelia’s baby. The confirmation comes at the end of the “Mars,” when Linc has already told Amelia the biological specifics of her pregnancy no longer matter to him. “I don’t want to live without you,” Linc tells Amelia while standing on her doorstep in the pouring rain.

When the 9th season of Grey’s Anatomy ended Seattle Grace Hospital was hit by a massive storm, leaving Dr. Webber (James Pickens Jr.) electrocuted and barely clinging to life in the basement.

The iconic surgeon enters the episode suffering from a rare and near-impossible to treat bone cancer, a diagnosis introduced in the same episode that included Frankie’s heartbreaking death. Yet, when “Winner” comes to a close, Catherine doesn’t die.

When Dr. Richard Webber quit his job as the Chief of Surgery, he returned to Adele to find out that she had moved on and appeared to be involved with another man. She is in the process of divorcing Richard when she is involved in a small car accident, and is hospitalized.

Richard is emotionally mortally wounded by the fact that Catherine, the woman who owns Grey Sloan hospital, did not lift a finger to support her husband after season 15’s health insurance fraud disaster. Catherine is convinced Richard is cheating on her with his colleague and friend Gemma (Jasmine Guy).

“It’s over now,” she says. Katherine and Richard’s separation and impending divorce is officially out in the open.

They got stuck in the infamous fog from the finale, and Jackson had to call in reinforcements to get him, Maggie, and a group of climbers they encountered back to civilization. The two ultimately solidified their breakup and it appeared as if Jaggie was finally done.

The doctors punished Avery by dissolving his foundation and renaming it in his daughter, Catherine Fox’s (Debbie Allen) name. It was the show’s way of toppling the patriarchy and perhaps, hinting at what real-life companies can do following allegations of sexual misconduct by powerful men.
