Sylveon is a quadrupedal, mammalian Pokémon covered with pale cream-colored fur with pink feet, ears, and tail.

It depends on the Eeveelution for me. Jolteon, Flareon, Umbreon, and Glaceon seem more fox-like while Vaporeon, Espeon, Leafeon, and Sylveon come off as cat-like.

When you breed a Pokemon, the Pokemon that comes out of the egg will be the first evolution stage of the female. That being said, if you breed a female Sylveon, an Eevee will come out.

Once you’ve used the name trick, Eevee can be evolved into Sylveon by earning 70 Buddy hearts with it, which means your chosen Eevee needs to be at Great Buddy Level. Swapping buddies will not reset your progress towards Sylveon, so feel free to change your Buddy Pokémon freely. You’ll also still need 25 Eevee Candy.

In-battle formes

Sylveon is now available in Pokemon GO, giving us a cute little fairy fox option to sit alongside Jolteon, Vaporeon, Flareon, Umbreon, Espeon, Leafeon and Glaceon.

Sylveon won’t be one of Pokemon GO’s greatest in all likelihood, but its use as a strong counter to Dragon, Dark, and Fighting-type Pokemon gives it a good utility role if needed. While Pokemon GO trainers probably won’t consider it a staple, expect to see it in rotation in battles, especially against Dragons.

Sylveon. Sylveon was only introduced to Pokemon GO in May but has instantly topped the best Eevee evolutions chart. Much like Glaceon, Sylveon’s Fairy typing helps it decimate the Dragon-types, bringing it into 21st place overall.

Physical sweeper. Leafeon is by far the best even though has slightly above average speed he has awesome attack and defense and far outclasses Flareon who is the weakest eevee evolution.

Leafeon: Evolve an Eevee near a mossy lure—it doesn’t need to be your own. Glaceon: Evolve an Eevee near a glacial lure. Again, any lure will do. Sylveon: Acquire 70 buddy hearts with Eevee as your buddy, then the Sylveon option will appear.

The main difference between them is that Sylveon has good SAtk and great SDef, making her a special wall, but she’s really slow. Espeon’s fast and has high SAtk, making her a good sweeper. Do note if you choose Sylveon, evolve it no later than Level 20, since that’s when it learns Draining Kiss.

These Pokemon have always needed Eevee to be leveled up while having high Friendship levels during the day or night to evolve. However, in order to evolve these Pokemon in Pokemon Sword and Shield, players need to make sure Eevee doesn’t know a Fairy-type move, or else Eevee will evolve into Sylveon instead.

The Water-type Vaporeon is among the strongest Pokemon Go Eevee Evolution in our Pokemon Go Tier List, Flareon, Jolteon, Espeon and Umbreon to name the rest.

Sylveon will have a bit more damage on its fairy spread move. Edit: Sylveon can also take over a game just using hyper voice which not a lot of mons can do, but it’s not nearly as busted as it used to be. Both can yawn, wish pass, but Togekiss also gets air slash so you can be a good dynamax option.

Sylveon works like every other Eeveelution in Pokemon Go: you must do something special with Eevee to evolve it. With Espeon, you have to make it your Buddy and walk 10KM, and with Glaceon, you use a Mossy Lure. Sylveon is a bit different, though its evolution method mirrors that of other Pokemon games.

First of all, the nickname trick continues to work with Sylveon. To get it first, take an Eevee and rename it to Kira – then evolve it. The first time you do this, you’ll get a Sylveon. After this, however, you’ll have to evolve into Sylveon in the traditional way, as this is a one-time trick per eeveelution.

Though the debut has just begun, Sylveon should be able to make a fairly large impact once it’s in PVP battles. Sylveon is also an economic Fairy-type option for players that don’t have a Togekiss or a similar pick. It’s easy to evolve and has some decent base stats that players can build a team around.

Looking at their stats, Sylveon also has slightly better bulk, with more HP and Special Defence than Gardevoir does. But they both do well as bulky Special Attackers, so my advice is to try Gardevoir out and see how it goes.

The best moves for Sylveon are Charm and Dazzling Gleam when attacking Pokémon in Gyms. This move combination has the highest total DPS and is also the best moveset for PVP battles.
