A 108 IQ means that you have average intelligence. A 108 IQ means that you have the same intelligence as most other people. To put it in perspective, most IQ scores range from 40 to 140. Average IQ ranges from 80 to 120. Thus, an IQ of 108 is in the middle of average.

Igor Sikorsky invented the “Direct-Lift Aircraft; Helicopter and Controls Therefore.” On November 26th, 1962, African American inventor, Paul E. Williams patented a helicopter, Lockheed Model 186 (XH-51). It was a compound experimental helocopter and only 3 units were built.

Price, a professor at the Wellcome Trust Centre for Neuroimaging at University College London, and colleagues, tested 33 “healthy and neurologically normal” adolescents aged 12 to 16. Their IQ scores ranged from 77 to 135, with an average score of 112.

So, if an individual of 10 years of age had a mental age of 10, their IQ would be 100. However, if their mental age was greater than their chronological age (e.g., 12 rather than 10), their IQ would be 120.

There are four levels of ID:

• moderate.
• severe.
• profound.

People with low and high IQ scores can work almost any job at almost any level. But it becomes increasingly difficult to perform well in very complex or fluid jobs (such as management in an ambiguous, changing, unpredictable fields) with a lower IQ.

An IQ of 115 or more can be considered to be a high IQ level. Only 15% of the population have an IQ level of 115 or above. If you have an IQ of 115 or above you are capable of the cognitive demands of almost any profession, and can attain the highest levels of education and training.

Some professionals, such as lawyers, exhibit high average IQ scores (in the 115-130 range), while at the same time scoring lower than the general population on EI (85-95). Nor does emotional intelligence correlate with any particular type of personality.

Orthopedic surgeons had a median IQ of 105.19 (sd 15) and anesthesiologists had a median IQ of 98.38 (SD 14.85) using the MENSA Brain Test version 1.1.
