The least noticeable colors are silver, white or clear. However, be careful with white and clear, since they can stain more easily.

Power chain braces typically take about six weeks to be effective, though each case is unique. It’s essential to care for your mouth during this time properly.

Do Power Chains Hurt? As with any adjustment, there will be some discomfort as new force is applied to your teeth. Power chains on braces do not cause significantly more pain than any other type of treatment. You will likely be sore for a few days after the orthodontist applies and adjusts them.

The most common type of treatment is traditional braces, however. During the active phase, the orthodontist will make several adjustments to whatever appliance is being used to obtain the desired results. The third and final phase of orthodontic treatment is the retention phase.
