Applications of Reflection of Light in Daily Life

In both reflection and refraction, rays bounce off a boundary. In reflection, rays bounce off a boundary, and in refraction, rays pass through a boundary. In refraction, rays bounce off a boundary, and in reflection, rays pass through a boundary.

Once the wavefront has passed across the boundary, it travels in a straight line. For this reason, refraction is called a boundary behavior. A ray is drawn perpendicular to the wavefronts; this ray represents the direction that the light wave is traveling. Again, refraction is a boundary behavior.

• Meters like ammeters and voltmeters use a mirror to avoid parallax error.
• The wing and rear-view mirrors of a car are made of a convex and a plane mirror respectively.
• A microscope uses a mirror to reflect light to the specimen under the microscope.

Reflecting helps you to develop your skills and review their effectiveness, rather than just carry on doing things as you have always done them. It is about questioning, in a positive way, what you do and why you do it and then deciding whether there is a better, or more efficient, way of doing it in the future.

External sharing of reflections is important because this kind of reflection multiplies the learning for each individual. As students review the learning events that have taken place, they give their learning new meaning. The opportunity to share often validates a student’s internal conversation.

We are the Reflection of God’s Glory. Isaiah 60:2b but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

Spiritual reflection for Christian believers is the process of thinking, pondering, or reflecting on biblical teachings, Scripture, and/or sermons. Spiritual reflection transforms our spiritual life, matures our faith, and improves nursing practice by applying God’s Word (Kofoed, 2011).

In other words, for humans to have the conscious recognition of their being in the image of God means that they are the creature throught whom God’s plans and purposes can be made known and actualized; humans, in this way, can be seen as co-creators with God.

The image of God and the likeness are similar, but at the same time they are different. The image is just that, mankind is made in the image of God, whereas the likeness is a spiritual attribute of the moral qualities of God.

The latter gives a soteriological emphasis to the incarnation: the Son of God became a man so that he could save us from our sins. The former, on the other hand, speaks of the incarnation as a fulfilment of the Love of God, of his desire to be present and living amidst humanity, to “walk in the garden” with us.

Man and woman created in the image of God implies that God has ownership over our lives and will one day justly pass eternal judgment upon us. Genesis 1:27: “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” once a refugee fleeing to Egypt.

Love of God can mean either love for God or love by God. The Greek term theophilia means the love or favour of God, and theophilos means friend of God, originally in the sense of being loved by God or loved by the gods; but is today sometimes understood in the sense of showing love for God.

Stewardship is a theological belief that humans are responsible for the world, and should take care and look after it. Believers in stewardship are usually people who believe in one God who created the universe and all that is within it, also believing that they must take care of creation and look after it.
