There are two types of space:Posititve and Negative Positive Space is the area that an object takes up. Negative Space the the empty area around or in the holes of the object.

A derivation of the French occupational name Fevre, which described an iron-worker or smith, Lefebvre derives from the Old French fevre, meaning “craftsman.” Similar French surnames include Fabre, Faivre, Faure, and Lefèvre. Lefebvre is the French equivalent of the English surname SMITH.

The spatial Triad is a model created by Henri Lefebvre. This model provides a framework to recognize the three elements of producing space. These three elements of the Spatial Triad are ‘representation of space’, ‘representational space’ and ‘spatial practices’ (Goonewardena et al., 2008).

Interpersonal distance. Hall described the interpersonal distances of man (the relative distances between people) in four distinct zones: (1) intimate space, (2) personal space, (3) social space, and (4) public space.

It is believed the word ‘space’ comes from a latin word ‘spatium’, which when translated back into English means, well, space. Space as in Outer Space, as in that place where the stars live, is believed to be largely empty, that is why it got associated with the concept of space.

In space, or on the moon, there’s no atmosphere to spread the light around, and the sky will appear black at midday – but that doesn’t mean it’s not just as bright. Even in space, stars are relatively dim, and simply don’t produce enough light to show up in photos set for bright sunlight.
