In today’s article, I’m going to share in depth with you about the three types of communication skills we all know about: Verbal Communication. Non-Verbal Communication. Written Communication.

• Developing the Message.

In general terms, however, the classical theory of communication involves four distinct levels: intrapersonal, interpersonal, group, and cultural.

There are four types of communication: verbal, nonverbal, written and visual….

• Verbal communication. Verbal communication is the most common type of communication.
• Nonverbal communication.
• Written communication.
• Visual communication.

The communication process involves understanding, sharing, and meaning, and it consists of eight essential elements: source, message, channel, receiver, feedback, environment, context, and interference.

The communication process is made up of four key components. Those components include encoding, medium of transmission, decoding, and feedback. There are also two other factors in the process, and those two factors are present in the form of the sender and the receiver.

Steps in Communication Process

1. The first step in communication process is to formulate the message which one want to convey.
2. The next step is to decide to whom, when and how to communicate before actual transmission of the message.

Communication can be categorized into three basic types: (1) verbal communication, in which you listen to a person to understand their meaning; (2) written communication, in which you read their meaning; and (3) nonverbal communication, in which you observe a person and infer meaning.

Hence, there are six important steps in the process of communication namely sending an idea, encoding, channeling, decoding, receiving a message and giving feedback (refer to Figure 1 in Appendix 1). The first step in the process of communication is sending an idea from a sender to a receiver.

The steps on the theory of 5 steps communication process is encoding, planning, medium, decoding, and lastly the feedback. There is the key point of explaining this assignment and the correct way to ensure the intended audient received the right massage.

Communication Process. Definition: The Communication is a two-way process wherein the message in the form of ideas, thoughts, feelings, opinions is transmitted between two or more persons with the intent of creating a shared understanding.
