Q. Can GCSE results be checked online?
Results will be available online from the official results day via your ResultsPlus Direct account (more information below). If you need a hardcopy of your Statement of Results you can ask for it to be sent by post or ready for collection in person but not earlier than the official results day.
Q. How can I get proof of my GCSE results?
Contact an exam board to get a replacement exam certificate or certified statement of results. You cannot get a replacement certificate for an O level, CSE, GCSE or A level – your exam board will send you a ‘certified statement of results’ instead.
Q. Will my school still have my GCSE certificates?
Secondary schools will keep your GCSE certificates for 1 year after they have been issued. If they are not collected within a year, schools will either send them back to the exam board or destroy them.
Q. Do employers check grades?
Employers are directed to the registry as well & they confirm the degree & its level. This is considered public domain info & there are no data protection or privacy issues. For school exams, an employer can contact the school or exam board directly.
Q. Can you lie about grades on CV?
In short, yes. CV lies are illegal. Making changes like inflating your university grades or changing previous job titles may seem small, but they can be classed as ‘fraud by false representation’, which carries a maximum 10-year jail sentence.

A: See the chart below. Children under the age of 14 are generally prohibited from working. Q: Is there a GPA requirement for a Work Permit? A: Yes, students must have a 2.0 Grade Point Average to apply for a work permit.
