All Passengers are permitted to bring one piece of hand luggage as a carry on that will travel with them in the cabin. There are no weight restrictions on this baggage, however, it must be 45cm x 36cm x 20cm including handles and wheels and must fit underneath the seat in front of you.

Checking excess baggage, meaning three or more bags per passenger, on Vietjet flights will cost $85-$95 per bag. Overweight and Oversized bags is considered any bag weighing more than 50lbs. The fees for checking overweight baggage on Vietjet are charged in addition to any standard, excess or oversized baggage fees.

International flights to and from North, Central and South America charge passengers $50 for each piece weighing between 23 and 32kg or $150 for an additional piece of luggage.

Prepaid baggage is offered for flights operated by Vietnam Airlines and Pacific Airlines (except for flights operated by ATR 72) with Vietnam Airlines’ tickets (738). Pre-paid baggage is purchased on basis of piece (10kg and 23kg) with total dimension not exceeding 158cm. Prepaid baggage must be purchased at least 06 hours before departure.

For Premium Economy/Business class: 18kg/40lb including two hand baggage items and one accessory. The total dimension of one hand baggage item must not exceed 115cm/45in (56cm x 36cm x 23cm or 22in x 14in x 9in).

Passengers are required to be present at the airport early enough to complete all procedures before flight. Vietnam Airlines recommends passengers arrive at least two hours prior to their scheduled departure time. When checking your pet in, passengers will be required to sign the “Waiver of responsibility” form.
