The four group types include Email list, Web Forum, Q & A Forum, and Collaborative Inbox.

Sign in to Google Groups. Search for the group: At the top, click My groups and select All groups and messages. In the search box, enter the group’s name or email address or a group topic and press Enter.

Sign in to Google Groups. Click the name of a group. On the left, click My membership settings. In the Subscription section, select Each email.

You can send an email from a Google Groups email address by configuring your account settings.

A Google Groups email list enables you to send an email to a group of people using a single email address, so you don’t need to type in individual emails each time. To create a Google Group email list, fill out and submit the online request form. People you add to the group later can also access the document.

Sending an email on behalf of a google group you are set up to use:

1. Open the group from which you want to send the email and select New Topic.
2. Create a new post and select the option “Make an Announcement”
3. In the email’s sent by section, select the drop down menu and choose to post on behalf of your group.

To create a group email account, follow the steps below:

1. Visit Google Groups and click “Create Group.”
2. Enter a name for the group and type in the email address you want to use, which will end in “@googlegroups.com.”
3. Enter a description of the group for members to view.

How to Create a Group in Gmail

1. Visit Google Contacts.
2. Click “Contacts”, “Frequently contacted”, or “Directory”.
3. Select the contacts you want to include in your group.
4. Choose the “Label” icon and press “Create Label”.
5. Name your label and type your group’s name in the recipients box to send an email to them.

How to Make a Mailing List in Gmail

1. Step 1 – Log in and click the “Gmail” drop down on the top left.
2. Step 2 – Select “Contacts” which will open a new window.
3. Step 3 – Click on the “Labels” drop down.
4. Step 4 – Click on “Create label” which will open a small input box.
5. Step 5 – Type in your new group-specific name.

Set Up A Group in the Contacts App To set it up, open the Contacts app and tap on the “+” button. Next, give the contact a distinct group name that you’ll remember. Swipe down until you find the “Notes” section. Here, type in multiple email addresses, all separated by commas (as shown in the screenshot below).

Follow these steps to send an email to a group on your iPhone or iPad:

1. Open the Contacts app.
2. Tap + to set up a new contact.
3. In the Last name or Company text box, enter a name for the email group.
4. Scroll down to the Notes section.
5. Enter every email address you want to add to the group, separated by commas.

I use Google Chrome on iOS. Go to google.com/contacts and choose “Request Desktop Site” from the top right icon (three horizontal lines). Select your group from the left and click the empty square above the list to select all members. It will then open a new message in Gmail to all the recipients.

Open Contacts and click on the “+” button in the bottom left. Select “New Group” then enter a name for it. Hit Enter/Return after typing in the name, then click on All Contacts so you can see your list of contacts to the right. To add contacts to your group, simply click on them and drag them onto the group name.

How to Complete Your iPhone Group Contacts (Mac & PC)

1. Click All Contacts on the top left side of the screen.
2. Choose New Group.
3. Enter the name of your group and tap Return on your keyboard.
4. Click All Contacts again, so you can add contacts to your group.
5. Drag and drop the contacts you’d like to add to your new group.

Create a group

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Contacts app .
2. At the top left, tap Menu. Create label.
3. Enter a label name and tap OK. Add one contact to a label: Tap Add contact. choose a contact. Add multiple contacts to a label: Tap Add contact touch and hold a contact tap the other contacts. tap Add.

Step 1: Go to iCloud.com and sign in to your iCloud account using your Apple ID and password. Then, select Contacts to view a list of your current contacts. Step 2: Select the plus icon in the bottom-left corner, and click New Group from the resulting pop-up menu.

Name a group text message on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

1. Open the group iMessage. Tap the group icons at the top of the message thread, then tap the info button.
2. Tap Change Name and Photo.
3. Add a name and photo for the group.

You can only name group iMessages, not group MMS messages. This means that all members of the group need to be iPhone users or signed into Messages on an Apple device such as a Mac or iPad.

Selecting a group from your iCloud account’s Contacts section and then pressing “Delete” removes the group after you confirm your selection. However, the group remains in your iPhone’s Contact app until iCloud syncs to the device.

To edit your contacts and groups, open the app and navigate to the “Contacts” tab. To add a contact to a group, go to the “Contacts” tab, select Groups, select the desired group, and press the “+” button.
