Piebald – Piebald is a recessive trait that is partially un-pigmented with variable color and pattern mutations. Piebalds express an unusual cloud-like pattern unseen in any other base-morph. Pieds are a color and pattern mutation with an aberrant body pattern while the head is typically normal looking.

The Axanthic Ball Python is a recent Ball Python color morph. Axanthism is a recessive color mutation that results in black and white snakes. Species from the VPI bloodline retain this black and white color throughout their life.

Black Pastel Ball Python Genetics. The Black Pastel Ball Python is a co-dominant morph. This means that, like a dominant morph, you only need one Black Pastel to produce Black Pastel babies. However, if you breed two Black Pastel together, you will produce Super Black Pastels.
