They theorize about what kinds of ways the murder could’ve happened—bee stings, poison, icicles, etc. Doug says maybe a doctor did it, which angers Turtle. Doug says there was a mysterious person in the parking lot wearing red boots (Turtle’s), calls her “Tabitha-Ruth,” and pulls her hair before running inside.

Tamara K. H. In Ellen Raskin’s The Westing Game, while it is true that Turtle Wexler figured out all four of Sam Westing’s identities, won the game, and later inherited $200 million, in reality all characters in the book are winners.

Resolution: Turtle Wexler figures out the true game of Sam Westing’s will and that he still is not dead but assumed the guise of Julian Eastman, Westing Paper’s recently elected chairman. Turtle wins the Westing game and becomes the secret heir of the Westing fortune.

Why did Turtle lie about Otis Amber? Turtle did not want to tell Eastman that they had passed away. What does Eastman know about Angela that surprises Turtle? Eastman knew Angela was the bomber.

Chapter 25: Westing’s Wake Revelations come out about Sandy; he had a bruise on his shin, but Turtle says the only person she kicked that day was Barney Northrup.

Eventually, Otis is revealed to be a private investigator in the service of three different people: Sam Westing, Barney Northrup, and Judge Ford.

Amber is a dim-witted delivery boy… …but it tuns out that he’s actually a skilled private investigator on a long-term retainer. Sam Westing hired him for a decades-long gig, simply to keep track of the ex-Mrs. Westing and make sure she didn’t get into trouble.

Otis is upset with Crow because he thinks she’s lost their clues. However, Crow is insistent that she remembers them all. Even so, Otis is concerned that someone will find them.

Westing Game characters

Theo Theodorakis is 18 years old. He is the eldest son of George and Catherine Theodorakis.

She’s easily the most pretentious character, and a contender for the most obnoxious, too. She fancies herself an interior decorator, but she’s doesn’t really have a career: the narrator’s neutral on the subject of Grace’s design skills, and we never meet any paying clients for her design business.

Angela Wexler is Sam Westing’s grand-niece and she looks like his daughter. Grace Wexler, Angela’s mother, claims that Sam Westing is her uncle. This makes sense, because Grace Wexler looks like Sam Westing’s daughter, who is deceased. If Grace is Westing’s niece, that makes Angela his grand-niece.

What does Theo think they should do with their clues? Theo thinks that all the heirs should put their clues together, hoping they will form a message – a message that will point to the murderer.
