We form the perfect tenses by using the verb to have as an auxiliary verb and adding the past participle of the main verb. We form the present-perfect tense by using the present tense of have (has or have) and adding the past participle of the main verb.

The present perfect of any verb is composed of two elements : the appropriate form of the auxiliary verb to have (present tense), plus the past participle of the main verb….Forming the present perfect.

To form the past perfect tense you use the past tense of the verb “to have,” which is had, and add it to the past participle of the main verb. For example: subject + had + past participle = past perfect tense.

The past perfect refers to a time earlier than before now. It is used to make it clear that one event happened before another in the past. It does not matter which event is mentioned first – the tense makes it clear which one happened first. when I arrived in the office.

The future continuous tense is used to talk about future events that will be in progress at a specific time in the future. We often use this structure to make a contrast between a present event and a future event. This time tomorrow I will be lying on the beach.

The present perfect continuous tense (also known as the present perfect progressive tense) shows that something started in the past and is continuing at the present time. The present perfect continuous is formed using the construction has/have been + the present participle (root + -ing).
