Outlier setts are even further from the main sett and are not connected to the main or annexe setts by obvious paths. They are much smaller and may only have a single entrance hole.

Badger setts Badgers live in a system of interconnected tunnels and chambers called a sett. Every badger clan has one main sett, which is used for breeding and is usually relatively large.

The badger lives an underground home called a sett, which will typically be towards the centre of their territory or home range. Their setts are usually situated in or near small clearings in woodland or copses. There may also be evidence of latrines (holes in the ground) nearby, into which badgers do their poo.

Deer feces or fewmets (as it is sometimes called) is a very characteristic animal dropping. They tend to look like Raisinets or pellet-shaped pieces that are usually either dark brown or sometimes black in color.

Birds, unlike mammals, do not have separate exits for urine and feces. Both waste products are eliminated simultaneously through the cloaca. While mammals excrete nitrogenous wastes mostly in the form of urea, birds convert it to uric acid or guanine, which reduces water loss in comparison.

Shape. A somewhat loglike shape is how most poop should come out due to its formation within the intestines. However, as we’ll get to later, there are a variation of shapes that poop can have. And when they differentiate from the log/sausage shape, that’s when your poop is trying to tell you something’s up.

Looks like hedgehog to me, they will climb walls etc.., as well as go under barriers. Rat droppings are like large shiny black grains of rice. Hedgehogs eat a variety of succulent crunchy insects, worms etc so wings and body casing can often be seen in their poo.
