Primary sector; The industries engaged in production or extraction of natural resources. example; farming,fishing, agriculture…etc. secondary sector; takes raw materials from primary and converts them into finished products. example; cotton mill, rice mill etc.

Primary sources can be described as those sources that are closest to the origin of the information. They contain raw information and thus, must be interpreted by researchers. Secondary sources are closely related to primary sources and often interpret them.

Primary sources are the raw materials of historical research – they are the documents or artifacts closest to the topic of investigation. Secondary sources are not evidence, but rather commentary on and discussion of evidence. Note: The definition of a secondary source may vary depending upon the discipline or context.

For example, mining, forestry, fishing, poultry etc. Tertiary Sector :- These are the activities that help in the development of the primary and secondary sectors.

The shoe is finally sold all over the world. The tertiary sector of the Nike shoe is selling it in stores all over the world. The quartiary sector of the shoe is the shoe improvement division in Nike.

Apple Inc. is oligopoly in the smartphone’s operating systems’ firm. There are 3 mainly operating systems which is very competitive in the market are iOS, owned by Apple Inc., Android, which is owned by Google, Windows phone, owned by Microsoft.

Better technology and improved labour productivity have enabled a higher output of manufactured goods and agriculture with less labour. This increased productivity has led to: Increased incomes of workers to spend on services. Spare labour to be able to work in the more labour intensive tertiary sector.

Tertiary sector

Primary care includes general practice, community pharmacy, dental, and optometry (eye health) services.

People with more serious or complex psychiatric disorders, like ADHD or anxiety disorder, are referred to secondary mental health care.
