To sell on Depop, anyone who is under 18 needs to use the PayPal account of someone aged 18 or over. We always advise younger users to have a chat with their parent(s) or guardian before making a sale.

The minimum age to enter into a contract is 18. You have to agree to a contract with Amazon before you can sell on Amazon. Therefore minimum age is 18.

You will be redirected to eBay to login using the same details as the account used to place your order. Once we have located your order, you’ll be directed to the age verification process – and done in less than a minute.

eBay makes the remaining funds from your sale available within 2 business days of confirming the buyer’s payment. You may choose to receive payouts of available funds daily or weekly. If you choose to receive payouts weekly, eBay sends payouts of available funds to your bank on Tuesdays.

If a bank account is on file with PayPal, the PayPal balance can be transferred to the bank at any time for free by clicking on the “withdraw” link near the top of the PayPal home page. Transfers are deducted from PayPal immediately and usually take three to four business days to appear in the account.

Like any store, you need to be careful about to whom you give your personal details and what you are actually buying. It has a secure website where you register your personal information, including bank card details. It will not pass on any of this information to anyone else, and it is held in a secure database.

Go to Personal Information – opens in new window or tab in My eBay. Go to the Financial Information section, and select Edit next to the credit or debit card you want to change under Checkout saved payment methods. Update your card information. Select Continue.
