Music icon Stevie Nicks is the latest American Horror Story alumni to appear on Apocalypse. The singer, who played herself in season three’s Coven, will appear in tonight’s episode as announced by Ryan Murphy via his Instagram.

Coven in particular featured multiple Fleetwood Mac songs like “Edge of Seventeen,” “Rihannon,” and “Sara”. Other songs featured were “Landslide,” “Kind of Woman,” “Silver Springs,” “Leather and Lace,” and “Gypsy.” Many of the songs were heard multiple times throughout the season.

We know the entertainment industry breeds the most surprising friendships, but few of us would stop to think of a Jessica Lange-Stevie Nicks-led sisterhood. Having been friends forever (in the universe of the show, anyway), the two are so close they even make a $5 bet that Misty would pass out upon Stevie’s arrival.

She needed support, she needed comfort, and she needed her coven. While it might be a curious case to look at, one thing is for sure, Stevie Nicks and her coven gave her the power and performance she needed to become one of rock and roll’s leading stars.
