Spain, which has a homicide rate of 0.7 per 100,000 inhabitants, ranks seventh globally among the countries with the lowest incidence of this type of crime. In this sense, Spain is statistically better placed than nations such as the United States (4.9) and Canada (1.7).

Spain is about 19 times smaller than United States. United States is approximately 9,833,517 sq km, while Spain is approximately 505,370 sq km, making Spain 5.14% the size of United States. This means understanding each other can sometimes become a cultural problem, depending on the state or region where we are in each country.
