Shrek represents an antihero in all the ways. In the movie Shrek gets angry with all his neighbors because they judge him before knowing him. He only thinks about himself. His intentions is not to do harm, but he does harm whether intentionally or not.

However varied Deadpool’s character might be, he is perennially the anti-hero for any number of reasons. He lacks the Western traditional heroic characteristics of noble motivations, true love, a king or country to fight for, and the ability to treat a situation seriously.

Montag is the main character, anti-hero and protagonist of Fahrenheit 451. Guy Montag works as a “fireman” whose job is to burn books and the house that holds them.

Montag’s fever symbolizes his intense emotions and symbolically represents him purging the negative aspects of his former life as he begins to experience a significant transformation.

After the firemen are deployed to Montag’s house, Beatty reveals that Montag’s hidden stash of books has been discovered, thus making Montag a criminal. He kills Beatty in order to save himself, but more importantly, to save Faber from persecution.

Beatty Lives, Montag Dies. In the book, he kills Beatty — in part, because Beatty wants to be killed — but in the movie, Montag lets him live.

Captain Beatty could have seen the books being destroyed by Montag and could not take the pain anymore and wanted to be put out of his misery. Another reason that Beatty may have wanted to die was because he realized that he actually hated the fast-paced futuristic society that he lived in.

Clarisse disappears from the novel fairly early, after she is killed by a speeding car.

Mildred casually remarks that she forgot to tell Montag that Clarisse passed away. Montag is initially shocked and in disbelief at hearing the news of Clarisse’s death, while Mildred seems like she could care less. Mildred then rolls over, and Montag remains silent in his bed as he reflects on the death of his friend.

The alternative is a little more interesting: Mildred is deeply unhappy. She’s severely bothered by the fact that her life is empty and filled with hours of mindless television. But in this world, it’s Mildred’s job to be happy. She’s done her duty by convincing herself she’s happy.

Mildred is the one major character in the book who seems to have no hope of resolving the conflicts within herself. Her suicide attempt suggests that she is in great pain and that her obsession with television is a means to avoid confronting her life.

Montag is so afraid of making a mistake with Beatty that he cannot move his feet. Faber tells him not to be afraid of mistakes, as they sharpen the mind.

What does Mildred do all day? She watches the “parlor walls” all day, giant TVs that cover entire walls. Describe the setup of Montag’s TV room.

Clarisse is considered anti-social because she refuses to participate in the activates that the government deems as acceptable activities for people in the society of “Fahrenheit 451”.

Mildred asks Montag to install a television on the fourth wall because this will be even more immersive and “realistic” for her to interact with the characters in the show. It would then be close to a virtual experience.
