It is a great improvement and definitely a must-watch for Shounen-anime fans! The art is still pretty much the same as it was in the first series. Even though the story in the first one wasn’t nearly as good as it could have been, the art was still spectacular, and still is.

The second season, Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan – Demon Capital (ぬらりひょんの孫 千年魔京, Nurarihyon no Mago: Sennen Makyō), aired in Japan from July 5 to December 20, 2011. It was made available for streaming with English subtitles the next day.

The latest issue of the Japanese Weekly Shonen Jump announced that Hiroshi Shiibashi’s Nurarihyon no Mago (Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan) is leaving the home of Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach to wrap up elsewhere.

Satori dies. Oni Hitokuchi dies. Hidemoto Keikain (27th) dies. Seimei is reborn as the Nue.

Nurarihyon the Sea Monster Nurarihyon is described as a type of Umi Bozu, The “slippery floater” of these legends is described as a bulbous mass that floats on the Seto Inland Sea, eternally bobbing up and down between the surfaces of the water.

The Nurarihyon is often depicted sneaking into people’s houses while they are away, drinking their tea, and acting as if it is their own house. However, this depiction is not one based in folklore, but one based on hearsay and repeated in popular Yōkai media.

Since her form resembled his late first wife, Rihan believed her to be Yamabuki Otome’s daughter and treated her as if she were his own. When Rihan recited Yamabuki Otome’s farewell poem, Hagoromo Gitsune stabbed him through the chest, with young Rikuo witnessing his father’s death.

Setsura
History. Tsurara was born to Setsura, a temperamental Yuki Onna who served under Nurarihyon himself and was an older Sister figure to Rihan. Setsura left at some point and her daughter became the Yuki Onna of their clan.

Seimei using his Eternal Rebirth technique tries to destroy her, only to be protected by her Hyakki Yako, but just when he and his demons are about overwhelm her and her Night Parade, she is saved by Rikuo and his allies. Having decided to work together, the both of them charge at Seimei, but he easily fends them off.
