Towerfall for Switch release date announced, Madeline and Badeline from Celeste will be playable. The popular Celeste characters come to the raucous indie game. The action-packed indie game from Matt Makes Games will feature both Madeline and her mirror self Badeline as part of the new six-player battle royale mode.

Towerfall: Ascension was eventually released as a sequel to the original Towerfall for the OUYA console in November 2016.

TowerFall: Ascension, an enhanced version of the original (with more modes, levels, and power-ups), is coming March 11 for PlayStation 4 and PC. It’s the Super Smash Bros. of the indie scene, but it could be a lot bigger.

Celeste was one of the most acclaimed games of 2018, but what you may not have known is that the tightly designed platformer was an expanded version of a smaller project developed in four days at a game jam. The developers, now including composer Lena Raine, say that this game took just three days to make.

The film opened to a mere $8 million, looking like an eventual flop on its $84 million budget. But then it went up the next weekend. Then the next and the one after that. It started to fall in January, but those falls have been small, in the 10-to-15 percent range.
