History is not difficult. History has many names, many dates, many orders, many records, many invasions and many administrative measures. Invasiveness, administration are those things which you need not doubt at all. Studying is something same as watching action movies with interest.

History majors might be considered easier than other majors because of the lack of lab work and technical writing required. You’ll spend a lot of your time as a history major analyzing older texts and writing papers on your thoughts.

Most people memorise dates, names and facts when they study history. This information is not useful in everyday life or for the future. Studying history helps us understand and grapple with complex questions and dilemmas by examining how the past has shaped (and continues to shape) global, national, and local relationships between societies and people.

Historians who write history emphasize the value of primary sources, that is those sources actually dating from a particular time period, while understanding the limitations of such sources. Historians know that the philosophy and methodology of history have changed over time and will keep changing.
