Star Wars might be space fantasy or space opera. But its setting is still a science fiction setting. The world of Star Wars has science-fictional devices and technology that allows the story to take place. The status-quo of Star Wars lives in a science fiction universe.

Animal fantasy tells tales about animals, behaving like human beings, speaking, experiencing emotions, and having the ability to reason. Often, such fantasies have simple plots, and constitute literary symbolism by presenting symbolic expression of human counterparts.

What Are Some Great Examples of Fantasy Literature?

Animals act like humans; they talk and often wear clothes. See, for example, The Jungle Books; The Peter Rabbit Stories, The Tale of Despereaux, The Wind in the Willows, or Watership Down.

A fantasy theme is a special kind of story. The word fantasy is commonly associated with fiction rather than fact. However, we tell stories about factual real-world events just as we tell fictional stories.

But, after putting many hours of thought into classifying Zelda I have finally came out with its formula: The Legend of Zelda is a mixture of Epic Fantasy, Sword and Sorcery, Dark Fantasy, Nonsense Fantasy, and quite often, two niches within High Fantasy– /”world-within-a-world/” and /”parallel universe.

While ACOTAR is fae fiction, it’s not necessarily a fairy tale as it lacks myth origins. Rather, it’s high fantasy. Margaret Rogerson wrote a fairy tale and kept to the original folklore of the “fair ones” who are made from earth, and embody life and death.

I would suggest TOG first because ACOTAR is a little better in some ways and you don’t want to go into TOG thinking it’s going to be the same. I feel like you’ll fall in love with BOTH series if you do that. ACOTAR is way better, so I guess read TOG first so you won’t be comparing them the entire time.

Romance quickly blooms. Great sex is had and enjoyed (and described in pretty explicit detail, mind you). But as Tamlin and Feyre become closer, another faerie walks onto the scene—Rhysand (or Rhys), a High Lord of the feared-and-unloved Court of Nightmares.

One thing I love about Feyre is that she’s not a virgin when the events of the first book start, which is kind of unusual for young heroines, even in romance that’s more definitively for adults. It’s OK for women to be virgins, it’s OK for them to have had as many sexual partners as they want.

This book is actually considered New Adult, which means the characters are still young (like Feyre, the main character of this series, is 19), but the content is geared more towards an older audience. I could never recommend this to a young 13 or 14-year old teenager.

I’d say thirteen and above, but skip the sex scenes, and trigger warning for violence, emotional abuse, PTSD, trauma etc. I’m thirteen at the moment, though I read ACOTAR and ACOMAF at twelve.

Yes, the young and innocent are great! But at the same time, as soon as kids find out about the Birds and the Bees, you can’t stop them growing up. Kids become adults, and personally, I’ve found that reading slightly more adult scenes in books has helped me explore what it’s like to grow up and be more adult.

I give Red Queen Four Stars and recommend it to all readers over the age of sixteen.

This is a wonderful, engaging story with a very interesting plot. Of course, there’s quite some violence and a romantic relationship between main characters, but this played a big part of keeping me excited. The violence, when reading, doesn’t seem to be that graphic or disturbing as CSM describes, thus as bad or gory.

Following the popular vein of romantic dystopian fiction, Shatter Me is likely to appeal to Divergent fans. Be prepared – this romance packs a pretty hormonal punch when it comes to sexual tension and desire. Mafi keeps the descriptions fairly clean, but the characters’ intentions are also wildly clear.

Shatter Me is going to be an upcoming TV adaption of the book of the same name by Tahereh Mafi. Film rights were purchased by 20th Century Fox before the book was published. Fox-based Chernin Entertainment will produce the film.

Juliette discovers that she has the ability to control her lethal touch, therefore having the ability to touch anyone she wants. With this realization, she can choose whoever she wants to be with, and Juliette recognizes her love for Warner. She admits this to him, and they go on to sleep together.

“Shatter Me” screams “young-adult dystopia” with the two male leads following the love triangle trope to a T. Adam, the nice one, and Warner, the bad boy/villain/anti-hero. After six sequels, guess which one Juliette ends up with (cue the eye-roll and yawn).

He was locked up in the asylum with Juliette for almost three weeks until they were released. Then, was designated to guard her, until they were able to run away by jumping from a window. After a series of occurrences, and Adam nearly dying, he, Juliette, James and Kenji arrived at Omega Point.

The second book in the series, Unravel Me, was published on February 5, 2013. The third book in the series, Ignite Me, was published on February 4, 2014. The fourth book, “Restore Me,” was published on March 6, 2018….Shatter Me.

1) You should read Destroy Me before picking up Unravel Me. Written from Warner’s perspective, Destroy Me gives you insight into his mind and tells you about what he is doing between the first two books of the series. The novella is also an important transition to the events that take place in Unravel Me.

But Shatter Me is not one of them. The Shatter Me series order is really simple, and there’s only one way to read, and that’s by publication order. Tahereh Mafi wrote six novels and 4 novellas, and each of the novellas are perfectly situated in the timeline to be right where they’re supposed to be when they published.

Nes Read the novellas. Not necessary, but you won’t get the full experience unless you step into Warner and Adam’s heads and understand how they think, especially towards themselves, Juliette and the Reestablishment.
