Christianity and Druze are Abrahamic religions that share a historical traditional connection with some major theological differences. The two faiths share a common place of origin in the Middle East, and consider themselves to be monotheistic.

The Druze still do not permit conversion, either away from or to their religion. Marriage outside the Druze faith is rare and is strongly discouraged. Many Druze religious practices are kept secret, even from the community as a whole.

Nearly all Druze (99%) believe in God, including 84% who say they are absolutely certain in their belief. But there are no set holy days, regular liturgy or obligations for pilgrimage, as Druze are meant to be connected with God at all times.

“The Secret” is the power of positive thinking on spiritual steroids. It is a new hybrid religion that joins the self-indulgent materialism of the West with the Hindu/Buddhist spirituality of the East.

UPDATED, July 17: Lionsgate said Friday that Roadside Attractions’ romantic drama The Secret: Dare To Dream, starring Katie Holmes and Josh Lucas, will be released on Premium Video on Demand on July 31.

The Secret: Dare to Dream is about a young widow Miranda (Katie Holmes) with three children who is struggling to make ends meet. The Secret: Dare to Dream, based on Rhonda Byrne’s famous self-help book The Secret, will be released in India by PVR Pictures on November 27.

He and Miranda begin to form an unspoken romance they can’t act on, even though something always brings them together. Later, a secret that ties the two together is revealed — and it’s also the reason Bray’s in town. She banishes Bray from her home. But she can’t go back to the way her life was without him.

Spoiler alert if you are unfamiliar with the book: The baseline “secret” is the Law of Attraction. Simply put, it is the belief that whatever you think about, hope for, dare to dream for … will come into your life. Think good thoughts, good things will happen.

The Secret is a treasure hunt started by Byron Preiss in 1982. Twelve treasure boxes were buried at secret locations in the United States and Canada. As of October 2019 only three of the twelve boxes have been found.

Gasiorowski told the Tribune that for years he held on to the casque — which was valued at more than $500 when it was dug up — but Wrobel now possesses it. He said the emerald they received from Preiss — worth about $1,000 at the time — was stolen sometime in the early 2000s.

“The Secret: A Treasure Hunt” was originally published in 1982 by Byron Preiss during a trend of “armchair treasure hunts.” The book set off a hunt for 12 ceramic casques hidden in 12 North American parks that has lasted 36 years, though only two have been found so far.

In reality, pirates burying treasure was rare. The only pirate known to have actually buried treasure was William Kidd, who is believed to have buried at least some of his wealth on Gardiners Island near Long Island before sailing into New York City. His bid was unsuccessful, however, and Kidd was hanged as a pirate.
