5MB Maximum for Attachment File Size is extremely low. Please up your maximum file size for attachments (documents & photos). Currently you cannot upload a file larger than 5MB to attach to an email which is extremely inconvenient when you have well-designed trainings with multiple screenshots.

Publish your presentation to make it public

1. In PowerPoint for the web, click .
2. Under Share, click Get a link.
3. Click Make public. Notes: You can also post a presentation to Facebook, Twitter, or other social network. If you’re posting to a tweet, or if the URL just seems too long, click Shorten.

Click File > Save & Send. Under Save & Send, click Send Using E-mail. Click Send as Attachment to attach your presentation to an email message. Click Send a Link to create an email message that contains a link to your presentation.

STEPS TO COMPRESS IMAGES: WINDOWS – MICROSOFT POWERPOINT

1. Open your PowerPoint file.
2. Select a slide that contains an image or picture.
3. Select the image or picture.
4. Click the Picture Format ribbon at the top of the screen.
5. Click Compress Pictures.

Computer files are usually measure in KB or MB. Today’s storage and memory is often measured in megabytes (MB). A medium-sized novel contains about 1MB of information. 1MB is 1,024 kilobytes, or 1,048,576 (1024×1024) bytes, not one million bytes.

If you’re a beginner you can use file size to help understand the suitability of an image for its purpose. As a rough guide a 20KB image is a low quality image, a 2MB image is a high quality one.

KB, MB, GB – A kilobyte (KB) is 1,024 bytes. A megabyte (MB) is 1,024 kilobytes. A gigabyte (GB) is 1,024 megabytes. A megabit (Mb) is 1,024 kilobits.

Client: Our last request will be to reduce the overall size of the PPT template. 7 MB is a VERY large template size.

In general, when attaching files to an email, you can be reasonably sure that up to 10MB of attachments are okay. Some email servers may have smaller limits, but 10MB is generally the standard.
